About Me

Growing up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I was passionate about sports from an early age. I played every team sport offered from kindergarten through fifth grade, but in fourth grade, I discovered wrestling—a sport that would profoundly shape my mindset and resilience.

That first wrestling season, I lost every single match. My parents took me to over a dozen tournaments across the state, and I walked away from each one without a win. It was disheartening, to say the least, and my confidence took a hit. But that experience sparked a flame in me—a determination to grow, improve, and never give up.

In fifth grade, I added football to my list of activities. I thought my wrestling background would give me an edge. I quickly learned I was wrong. My first football season was humbling. Because of my late birthday, I played on the varsity team with older, stronger, and more experienced kids. That year, I only got on the field for one play—and it ended with a penalty: “False start on the offense, #91.” After that, I was benched for the rest of the season.

These early failures, though tough, were transformative. Instead of giving up, I came back the following year with a new mindset and an unrelenting drive to improve. In wrestling, I went on to win six medals at state tournaments and even claimed victory in a city tournament during eighth grade. In football, I became a starter on both offense and defense, and my team won the championship that year. From then on, I never let fear of failure hold me back.

After high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman. Multiple deployments taught me the value of discipline, hard work, and resilience. Those lessons carried into my life after service, where I realized the importance of balancing a strong mind and a strong body.

During college, I focused on refining my lifestyle—drinking less, eating better, and diving deeper into strength training and nutrition. While diving into the world of Exercise Sciences,  these habits not only transformed my own life but also gave me the foundation to help others improve theirs.

With years of experience in athletics, strength training, and personal development, I am confident that I can help you achieve your goals. Whether you’re looking to become more explosive on the field, build muscle, improve mobility, or simply lead a healthier life, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.
